1848 Women's Rights Disconnect Parallels Environmentalists and Veganism in 2015
In 1848, roughtly 2/3rd of people at a women's rights convention still didn't think women should have the right to vote (Paul Chappell's book "The Art Of Waging Peace"). In 2015, roughly 70% of people consider themselves to be environmentalists, but around 97.5% of people still aren't vegan.
Although we have a long way to go, more and more people are learning that rearing animals for food is a staggering waste of natural resources compared to cultivating plant foods for direct human consumption. Let's make 2015 a huge year for the only PLANET-based diet: veganism!
